- St.Louis Blues re-acquired F Keith Tkachuk and a conditional 4th round draft pick in 2008 from the Atlanta Thrashers for a conditional 1st round draft pick also in 2008.
- LW Jeff Cowan re-signed with the Vancouver Canucks to a 2 year contract.
- D Jay Harrison and F Simon Gamache signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs .
- G Craig Anderson re-signed with the Florida Panthers to back-up new goaltender Tomas Vokoun.
- G Pekka Rinne re-signed with the Nashville Predators.
- Florida Panthers did not tender a qualifying offer to D Alexei Semenov, RW Juraj Kolnik and G Alex Auld making them all UFA's. This leaves D Bryan Allen as the only player left from the Roberto Luongo trade still with the Panthers.
