I sat up last night sitting staring at my computer screen waiting for ANYTHING to happen thinking to myself that I'll go crazy if I don't go crazy tonight. Deciding I needed to breathe and count my losses I headed to bed like a kid on Christmas eve! I woke up early this morning and turned on TSN for a long fun filled day with plenty of moves or so I thought. 2 hours into this bore fest I had seen nothing done and was getting sick and tired of Pierre McGuire thinking there was no line on the horizon and a moment of surrender I decided to head into work. Having to battle another hour then FINALLY I hear Bob McKenzie announce the Flames picked up Jordan Leopold YES! A soild 4th D-man that knows the system and likes the city! I was elated. Then much to my shock a mere hour later Mr. Sutter made his biggest splash on a deadline since taking over as Flames GM and getting Mr. Ollie Jokinen!! And what did he give up? Lombo, Prust and a 1st (conditional) While Lombo is a great guy and the city loves him he's not going to see 35 goals anytime soon. So we finally have a true #1 Center and I think to myself this is Magnificent! Just the thought of that first line should send shivers down the spine of other teams! So Calgary fans get on your boots and get ready for what hopes to be a long and fun Stanley cup play-off run!
I tryed hard to get all of the song names from the new U2 CD No Line on the Horizon into the blog! lets see if anyone can guess how many I got in!! Also make sure you get the CD as it is prob. their best since Joshua Tree! And I can finally get some sleep as it's supposted to be white as snow out there tomorrow.
